Traffic education course
Attend the mandatory traffic education course as early as possible.
The traffic education course is a mandatory part of your training. It should be attended after passing the theory exam. As driving instructors, we recommend completing the traffic education course at the beginning of your driving training, ideally before your first driving lessons. Through its practical approach, you will be taught many fundamental skills that will prepare you optimally for driving lessons.
Structure of the Traffic Education Course in the Driving School:
The course consists of 4x2 lessons covering the following topics. In the traffic education course, the sense of traffic and hazard perception are trained together in a group. In addition, there are useful tips for vehicle maintenance and behavior in case of accidents.
Course Content:
Part 1 focusing on Traffic Observation:
We start with traffic safety teaching and the functioning of the human sense organs. Learn to assess situations in traffic correctly and recognize dangers in advance.

Part 2 focusing on Traffic Environment:
Learn more about other road users and how to assess their behavior and react correctly in case of misconduct.

Important
- Attendance at the course is only possible with a valid learner's permit (white permit). The yellow (provisional) permit is not valid. The valid permit must be brought with you on the 1st day of the course. Otherwise, you don't need to bring anything. Paper, pens, and course materials are available in the theory room. Please arrive on time for the start of the course.
- The course is only conducted with a minimum of 5 participants.

Frequently asked questions about traffic educations course
Who are traffic education courses mandatory for?
For all driving students who want to take the practical exam in categories A, A1, B, and B1. If you already have a license for categories A, A1, and B1, you do not need to attend traffic education classes for the other category.
Where can I find the current dates?
You can always find them here on this page. Due to the different course locations, you will surely find suitable dates. In addition, depending on the location, we offer you the opportunity to attend classes on two Saturday mornings with double lessons. You can book directly on the website online.
Where does the class take place?
In our centrally located theory rooms in Altendorf, Pfäffikon and Wädenswil. All locations can be reached from the train station in just a few minutes.
